This makes me so sad that she likes my mom and dad better because i bathe her i feed her but she sleeps in their bed and refuses to sleep for long in mine. I play with her and every thing and she just DOESN'T like me. I try not punishing her when she does wrong so she will like me, but even if my mom yells at her she still likes her better and i have never had this problem with dogs i'm usually very good with them! What he said didn't really anger me or anything, but I did a fearful side glance at my boyfriend who gets extremely irritated and jealous easily and he didn't really say anything, because it turns out he liked my guy friends and thought they were pretty cool. How to deal with my horrible mother?

So my mother complains all the time that she does not have anyone to take care of her and pamper atleast one whole day (since my parents are divorced she gets very lonely). So I decided to cook for her and give her a break from the kitchen for today and start cooking. To be honest I hate the kitchen and I hate to cook but I somehow bring myself to do it. So I start...and since I dont cook too often I happen to take longer than what she would take to cook the same thing..Obviously. So just when I'm about done, she yells from the bedroom (where is is just lazing around) if I'm planning on providing her with breakfast or dinner because I'm taking so long! I'm like I'm done, here it is. She is so unhappy and starts eating and complaining about how long I took to make it and how I am so slow and how I still have to learn to do things right and how I'm incapable of providing her a happy breakfast etc...etc. At this point my blood is boiling....On top of making her breakfast and trying to do something nice, this ***** wants to complain on how I could not do it according to her standards! I just want to scream and say SCREW YOU *****, YOU DESERVE NOTHING! But instead I control my temper and tell her to stop nagging for which she explodes like a latent volcano and starts yelling at me and throwing stuff and acting like a psychotic poodle! I try to reason with her and tell her to calm down and she slaps me!!!!!!! At this point I lose my temper and start yelling too (I really wanted to slap her back but obviously I can't slap my mom). She tells me I'm a ***** and needs to be treated like one and she will make sure she will put me in my place blah blah...She says this was the reason my dad does not like me. WOW. I mean really?? Okay so I have a small basketball practice for a 3 on 3 tourney we are having soon, it's from 1:30 to 2 and we are just going to shoot around. I don't know exactly how you feel, but I'm pretty much in the same spot. I had 4 kids in 5 years and all of them are big trouble makers. My husband is in the army and hasn't been here for the last nine months. My kids are now 7,5,3,2. It seems that they start being a little better behaved around four years old but starts to get a lot better by five. I still have some issues with behavior though, it feels like they run circles around me sometimes. The key is consistent discipline while they are younger, even if you have to stop what you are doing, or leave a store to accomplish it. When they get older you have heart felt discussions about how their behavior effects you. They will get to the point where they empathize and want to help. My oldest will say, "Mom I know the girls are being bad and you are getting frustrated, what do you want me to do to help?" She is such a sweetheart now, but it is due to the fact that she has learned I don't put up with her crap, and many heart to heart talks. She used to be the worst of all. Oh the stories I could tell. I know it seems sometimes like there is no light at the end of the tunnel when it is 24/7. Keep your head up and fight the good fight. It'll be worth it. Another tip I have is get them involved in the cleaning up. I tell my kids if they can't behave they must need a chore to keep them busy. Even the little ones like taking a wet rag and wiping down the walls. I know yours are still little but they can do something to help mama out. Also I would like to add that they are not too young for discipline. I always start my kids when they are 18 months to two years old. The older they are the harder they are to fight. Let them know who is in charge.

Absolutely Not. I own several guns, and have a conceal/carry permit in the state of Virginia. I feel safer because of it. I rest easier at night knowing that my house is protected. While it would be ideal to call an officer of the peace to come if someone broke into my house, my .45 is a great option until they get there. All of the firearms I own are registered (if by law they are required to be). My dad abused my mom when i was little he choked her and spit at her. He threw coffee at her and he threw a ton of other stuff at her. Every time you CATCH HIM IN THE ACT of peeing or pooping elsewhere take him to where he should pee. Whether that be on a training pad or outside, even if he is still peeing you must do this and pooping too. But only if you catch him in the act, because afterwards he won't understand. Overprotective Parents ruining my summer?

I'm a 16 year old boy, and I've had this problem every year. My parents NEVER let me hang out with friends, and my mom even canceled my phone service! All my friends are going to Disneyland and Six flags and the beach and just hanging out, they don't drink or do drugs, and almost always there's a parent driving us. 2 days ago I got my 5 year old out to rie well not "out". But just riding her in the pature with a halter like a do sometimes. Granted she hadn't been ridden ridden just kinda lightly worked in the last 3 weeks every other day or ever 3 or 4 days. I got her halter on and hopped on. Started walking around in the pasture every thing was going fine, asked her to go into a trot every thing was okay she was listening, then BOOM! I asked her to go into a trot for the second time and she went into a bucking frenzy, I lost it on the third or foruth buck as I was bareback, I got up after I yelled a few words I will not repeat. Checked her back for pain checked her legs nothing she was fine, anyway. I got her out of the pasture today just to work on her, everything was going okay I got her to trot with no problem and walk with no problem. I wanted to take it easy as she seemed stiff NOT limping but stiff. So she started to lope I knew something was wrong right away. She loped three or four steps went into a bucking frenzy again. I hit so hard on the ground tonight I couldn't breath and we thought I had internal bleeding and are still waiting to see if I have to go to the hospital. As my mom is a nurse blah blah blah. After she threw me I wanted to get right back on, I even told my neighbor that came runnning and my mother and father I wanted back on right away. So I found her brought her back up and was going to get back on. But instead lunged her on the round pen until she was sweating(I let her have breaks). She then joined up with me........Which is a first for both of us. Anyway she is not in pain her tack fits I have checked her back her legs under her belly every where. There is no sign of pain or discomfert. She has never EVER acted like this. In the whole time she was being broken she only through me once. That was my fault though as I thought she was ready and I rushed and she wasn't. So I paid the rightful price for that. But i mean she is like a whole new horse she seems mean and just doesn't want near me anymore(well until we joined up tonight). No she is not in heat I have been watching since she threw me the first time. Did *I* do something wrong!? Could I have caused her to do this or? I have always been light with my hands and seat never have been rough. I don't know what to think. If it gets any worse or she seems worse I am gonna call the vet out and the chiro if the vet can't find anything wrong, to give her a check over. How can i get my horse to watch where she is walking?

I have a 13 year old Arabian who was kept on a dry lot for at least a year. I just got her and we have rocky terrain so when i take her out for a trail ride, she trips over every tiny thing because she is looking around at the trees or anywhere but that ground. I am 15 and just found one small plantar wart in the middle of the ball of my foot this morning as I was looking at my feet. I read about warts and identified mine as a plantar wart. These are common in teens and young adults, and are normally on the hands and feet. They are contracted from locker room floors, gyms, etc. This past week, I have been going to Karate classes which require my remove my socks and be on the floor mats which countless other barefoot individuals have used. My mom was yelling at about how big of a failure i was after she caught me smoking pot. my daughter was asking why her feet gets really pink when she is outside wearing flip flops or walking around barefoot outside? is this normal for her feet to be so pink , especially on the heels? also can flip flops ruin the arch support on her feet to be causing this, i told her barefoot outside is much healthier am i correct?? help!

Head Trauma as a kid, or just my anxiety?

Hey, my name's Jake and I'm 16 years old. I've always head extreme anxiety, in elementary school I'd always have bad temper and yell at the whole class. Now at 16, I still don't feel right and it's too the point to where I am going crazy. Everyday I'm on a long search on the internet to find what's going on in my head and what can help. When I think back to when I was very little, around 5 or 6, I always remember the time that a very large rock was dropped on my head. I didn't get knocked out but it was very serious and had stitches and stayed in the hospital for a while. And now I think that is the reason. Here is what is going on in my head... I think too much of what other people think of me. Or just think to hard in general. I always feel like things are awkward, when they're not. Example: riding around in my friends car, I role my window down, I think he thinks I'm weird for having my window down, or he doesn't want it down. Even though he probably doesn't even notice my window is down or even cares. My thoughts often feel "cloudy" and I get off track easily. I feel like this issue is holding me back from doing some fun things and having a great life. I used to be a real good student, but now my grades are dropping extremely. I often find myself looking in the mirror, it's like I have to. I don't know why, but I think it's me trying to find who I am. It's like I have no personality. When I see people, on the street, in school, I try to see my self as that person, I do this as a way to really see how un normal I am. I also always think myself as another person, and if I saw myself so I get a point of view of what I look like and act. I am way overly conscious of my looks. When ever I learn about a new disease, or disorder, I focus all my energy on that and I think I have it. I once convinced myself I was mentally retarded. I just wish I could be somewhat normal in the inside as everyone else. I know you're suppose to accept who you are, but I think this is something that needs to be dealt with. I have made some very good healthy choices by trying to eat right, working out, and even joined my school's football team in hope that I can be mentally healthy. It's helped a little, but this is driving me crazy and can't see myself living like this for more than another year. I have an appointment in about a month with the therapist. I was just wondering if anyone could give me a head start on all this. I tried to explain it as well as I could and any advise or information would be appreciated.

So then I decided maybe it would make me feel better if I told someone. So I told my mom about a week ago. All she said was don't do it again. Barefoot or Shoes? (Huge decision! help!)?

So i ride a pretty small pony he is about 13'2 and I'm 5'4 and I'm still growing. Anyway his hooves are falling apart! He is barefoot at the moment and hasn't really ever had shoes. At the moment I do jumping about 2'3 and I'm hoping to get to 3'. Where I live the ground is pretty hard even though its summer. So my barn owner said that if I want to keep jumping him i have to put his shoes on him. I LOVE to jump! I barely get to jump at my lesson stable and my barn owner doesn't want me to pay the $50-$100 for a pair of front shoes. But if I didn't shoe him and I just did hacking I would barely ever get to jump! My barn owner won't pay for shoes because I'm the only one who rides him and she doesn't want to pay the extra fee. My parents aren't very wealthy and I work at this barn for my ride. So what should I do? Should I just have him trimmed and never jump him again? Or should I pay the money that is pretty expensive and jump him? I know its my decision but I would like a second opinion, Any help? Also we would take off the shoes in September because I won't really jump in the winter all that much.

What exactly does it take to be a Fighter Pilot?

I've been looking all over for information for this, and I have found little to nothing on it, I'm interesting in trying to get into the Louisiana Air Guard's 159th Fighter Squadron (The Bayou Militia), to be more specific. I am 5'5", 20/20 vision, 2.8 GPA (in college), as of right now majoring in Social Studies Education and, according to the Practice ASVAB I took at the Army National Guard Armory, I should recieve about a 90-95 on my ASVAB test. What are the requirements for the Bayou Militia, OR the typical requirements for most Air Force/Air Guard Fighter squadrons to get into an F-15 plane?

Difference between jumping on grass and in a school?

It's much the same. I think he would be fine to jump on grass for the first time at the show- you probably won't notice the difference. Only it can get slippy, so if it's raining (which it always seems to be whenever I go to a show!!) just go steady. Being barefoot will actually help to stop him slipping so don't worry about him needing shoes :)

I need help with my foot!! Help please?

Since it's summer I've been wearing flip-flops everyday. But I think it's doing some damage to my feet. On the back of both of my big toes they are dry and hard. It's on my heels too. These areas alway get stained (like when you're barefoot and your feet get dark) and no matter how hard I wash it gets stained easily. I think it's because my flip-flops are black but I'm still annoyed. How could I get rid of this? Would a pumice stone work? And how can I prevent this from coming back? Thanks.

So I was playing soccer yesterday barefoot, and i went to kick the ball, but I accidentally kicked a person lol. So it was really painful and I couldn't really walk the rest of the night. So I woke up expecting it to be gone, but it's still there! :( It hurts just as much as before and it is swollen, red, and there's a small bruise.
